Mr. William (Bill) Johns, 82, of Stone Mountain died Wednesday, October 22, 2015. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was loved by all who knew him. He proudly served in the U.S.Army and loved his country. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 492. He graduated from Avondale High School and attended Georgia State University. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved sharing his time with family and friends. Most precious to his heart were his children, grandchildren, and great-children. They were his heartbeats. He is survived by his brother, Clifford (Pat); three children Jennifer (Bob), Becky (Mitch), and Doug; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 26, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
