William Johnson Hunt

William J. Hunt of Decatur died Thursday, January 06, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne A. Hunt, son, James W. Hunt and sister, Helen Garges. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Renz of Atlanta; several nieces; several great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Hunt retired as a budget analyst from the US Postal Service. A native of Washington, DC, he moved to Atlanta in 1946. During WWII he served as a flight navigator in the US Army Air Corps. A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, celebrated by Msgr. Paul Fogarty. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
