William Richard Mccoy

William Richard McCoy, 72, passed away on January 20, 2008 after a battle with cancer.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Shirley Boles McCoy in 1999 and both his Father, Henry Banks McCoy, Sr. in 1984 and Mother, Mary McCoy in 1984.  He is survived by his two daughters and son-in-laws, Lorrie and Ross Eberhardt living in Chickamauga,GA; Deborah and David Goodwin living in Snellville; five grandchildren; Jason and Brandon Hall of Snellville, GA; Taylor, Jennifer and Travis Eberhardt of Chickamauga, GA; two sisters, brother-in-laws; Betty and Billy Knight of Woodbury, GA, Sara and John Ellis of Fayetteville, GA; and two brothers and sister-in-laws;  James and Kathryn McCoy of Manchester GA, Henry Banks McCoy II and Vera McCoy of Kansas City, MO ; several nieces and nephews and their families. Mr. McCoy served in the Armed Forces of the United States from 1956 to 1958 with an Honorable Discharge.  He retired from working at the State of Georgia in 2001.  The family will be receiving friends, Tuesday, January 22, 2008 from 11:00 to 1:00 at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home.  Graveside services to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens at 1:30PM.   Pallbearers will be:  Taylor Eberhardt, Jason Hall, Brandon Hall, Joe Moon, Bill Bhame, Henry Banks McCoy, III.  Per Mr. McCoy's last request, no flowers or donations please.
