William Sidney Mcdonald

William Sidney "Bill" McDonald passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

He was born on July 28, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. McDonald attended Briarcliff High School and Perimeter College in Atlanta. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served with the 10th Special Forces in Bad Tolz, Germany. After returning to Georgia, Mr. McDonald was a police officer, first with DeKalb County and most recently with the City of Clarkson where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant.

Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Lester and Betty Childers McDonald. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Moon McDonald; daughter, Kathryn McDonald Nangle and her husband, Will; sister, Nancy McDonald Powell and her husband, Robert; and his niece, Jessica Elizabeth Lane.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in the spring for friends and family.
