William Stuart Simonton

William S. Simonton, age 64 of Decatur, Ga passed away on December 5, 2021 from natural causes. He is survived by his sister and brother-in law Yvonne (Bonnie) and Doug Hammond of Burnsville, NC, nephew Scott R. Sager of Atlanta, Ga., his aunt Mary Ann and several cousins. The service will take place December 20, 2021 at 2 pm at AS Turner and sons. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm.

William enjoyed a number of hobbies including music, studies and theories of mathematics and physics, biking and gardening. He loved chatting with neighbors and often lending a hand where needed. Although quiet in his faith, he was steadfast and trusting. He will be missed for his polite and generous nature, his kind heart, and joyful spirit.
