William Terry Medcalf

Mr. William Terry Medcalf of Decatur died Monday, March 8, 2010. He was born in Decatur in 1943 to Mildred Y. Medcalf and H. J. Medcalf, Jr. He attended Decatur High School and was a 1961 graduate of S. W. DeKalb High School. He served his country in the U. S. Army in Vietnam. He was a 30 year employee of Union Camp Paper Corp and later worked for Carey Paul Ford. Mr. Medcalf is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Rob Key of Loganville; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Kevin and Rachel Medcalf of Aiken, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bruce Chastine of Charlotte, NC; and four grandchildren, Nicholas Key of Loganville, William, Olivia and Benjamin Medcalf of Aiken, SC. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 11th at 11 a.m. in Decatur Cemetery, Rev. William L. Lewis officiating. For those desiring, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams St., Atlanta, GA 30303. The family will receive friends from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 10th at A. S. Turner & Sons
