William "Bill" Truman Ouzts, affectionately known as Grandaddy, of Decatur, GA passed away Monday, September 7, 2015. A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, he lived a full, adventurous, and eventful life. He was born on September 1, 1933, with his twin brother Johnie, in Devol, OK. He was an Eagle Scout, served in the U.S. Army, graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Engineering Physics, and had a long and successful career in the oil industry - with Shell Oil Company for more than 20 years and retired as Executive VP and member of the Board of Directors for Damson Oil Company in Houston, TX. He is survived by his loving daughter, Stephanie Davage, his grandchildren, DJ Davage, Blake Davage and his wife Lindsay Davage, and Kasey Davage, and his great-grandson Owen Davage. He is also survived by his twin brother Johnie and his wife Waunette and their 3 children, his brother HC and his wife Sharon and their 3 children, and his sister Carolyne Robinson and her husband Don Robinson (deceased) and their 3 children. A memorial service will be held at A.S. Turner and Sons on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Decatur, GA. The family welcomes family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Heart Association. A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
