Mr. Willie “Bill” Lorenzo Webber, Sr., 78, of Decatur went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 29, 2008. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U. S Army. He was a member of the Atlanta Chapter 82nd Airborne and a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, and pepa. Mr. Webber is survived by his wife, Doris Webber; children, Jo Anne Pierce (Jack), Karen Keenun (Don), Juanita Wood (Charles), Wanda Harlan (Gene), Willie Webber, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Womack and Rev. Rodney Knowles officiating. Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the USO World Headquarters, Dept. WS, PO Box 96860, Washington, DC 20090-6860 or Walter Reed Army Medical Center 6900 Georgia Ave., N.W., Washington, DC 20307, for the care of wounded veterans. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
