Delgado, Wilma Ballew

Wilma Ballew Delgado, 88, of Atlanta, died Monday, December 8, 2014. Mrs. Delgado was born in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late James and Florence Ballew. She and her late husband Gilbert lived on Clifton Rd. for 49 years where she was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Candler Park. She retired from both Emory Clinic and Scripto Pen and Pencil. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded by two brothers, Vernon and Hoyt Ballew and two sisters, Nora Turner and Marie McJunkin. She is survived by her son, Bill Love and wife Patricia of Marietta; step daughter, Darlene Vela-Lewis and husband, Richard of Jackson, GA; nieces, Joy Culbreath and husband Jack of Dunwoody, Mary Helen Brister and husband George of San Diego and Bobbie McMichael and husband Steve of Braselton, GA., five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Thursday, December 11, 2014 from the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church. A.S.
