Wilma Jean Woodard

Jean Robinson Woodard, age 73, of Lawrenceville, died May 13, 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Winslow Woodard. She is survived by her daughter, Katharine Parks of Lawrenceville; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Rob Erwin of Grayson; son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Penne Woodard of Canton; grandchildren, Brian, Drew, Ryan and Christopher; sister and brother-in-law, Murnette and Bud Baird of Toccoa; sister, Judy Robinson of Anniston, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Faye Robinson of Anniston, AL; sister-in-law, Joan Robinson of Marietta, and brother-in-law, Ray Hughes of Tallapoosa. A native of Edwardsville, AL, Mrs. Woodard was retired from BellSouth with 30 years of service. She was an animal lover and an avid gardener. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed greatly by family and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Woodard will be held at 11 AM (Central Time), Saturday, May 19, at Cane Creek United Methodist Church in Fruithurst, AL with Rev. Ken Ballard officiating. Interment, the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 Saturday morning at the church. A. S. Turner & Sons.
